So you say you’re not a runner? Well six months ago I said the same. I hated it! Now I’m not saying I ‘love’ running now… but I CAN run, and I’m enjoying the feeling I get after a run. It’s truly a mind game… if I’m in the right head space I can beat my PB. I’ve learnt now before every run I just have to tell myself ‘I can’ and I do it. Having the #kicgirls program to follow forced me into doing at least 2 runs a week.. and now I run 2-4 times a week because I’m enjoying it. So many #kicgirls were like me and could barely run 1km without stopping before signing up and now they’re running 5km. Tonight I ran 6km in 28min and 36sec and I’m proud as punch.
